Mr. Richard “Blake” Cheek is originally from Wilkes County, North Carolina. Mr. Cheek graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 2010 and received his Juris Doctorate from Charlotte School of Law in 2014. During law school, Mr. Cheek interned for the Iredell County District Attorney's Office and the Law Office of Bill Baity, Jr. Following graduation and passing the North Carolina Bar Exam in 2014 Blake worked for the Law Office of DiRusso & DiRusso in Mount Airy, North Carolina from 2014 until 2017.
Born and raised in Elkin, North Carolina James W. Partin (“Jack”) has been practicing law in the Elkin area for forty years and is a pioneer in the intricacies of the practice of disability law. Jack received his bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University in 1975 and his Juris Doctorate from Campbell School of Law in 1979. Jack is an expert in the field of disability law.
In his spare time, Jack enjoys sailing around Lake Norman, racing cars with his grandson Justin, and spending time with his wife of forty-plus years.
